THE TENIMENTI TERRE IMPERIALI'S WORLD

Usually, the sites treating about wines boast off the quality of their products in order to attract new buyers to their products, i.e. their wines. We always wondered how you can convince someone to buy a product to be tasted phisically just through a page on internet. We do think that custumers that check on someone's site probably already had occasion to taste their wines and hence they moved on the site of the producer.

Well, it does not work with us, with our idea, with our vision of this world of wines; first of all because our quantity of wines are limited up to a maximum of 900 bottles per year, while the rest of our lands are rented to famous producers.

We are in fact not traders of wine. We are lovers of these lands that produce wine, lands in Piedmont, in its subregions of Langhe, Roero and Monferrato, names all linked by a common factor: to be once under the dominium of the Holy Roman Emperor Otto I, from whom, we come till today. And from Him we took our logo, our name and our dreams. We are not in need to sell our 900 bottles all numbered and kept indeed for aging. We are hoping to share with wine-lovers of these blessed lands the passion that moves us in every step we take: the pruning of the wineyards, the blossoming of the first leaves but also cultural aspects as ancient books of botanic, historical threads, noble histories, linguistic topics and failed projects. Yes! because we failed a lot of times and we are not ashamed of this. We kept on with our passions, changing the aims and the goals but always keeping in us the love for these lands, for their wines and for the nature in general. And it is time to share all this with the persons that feel the same, living around the world and for this reason we decided to use English (not with Google translator and hence we hope you will forgive our mistakes) for this blog, in order to reach the maximium extend of persons that share this vision of life like ours.

The main aim is hence to keep you posted of the living progress of landowners of wineyards, what is going on, the fears for the future and the hope for the nex generations, more like a shared diary, written day by day, with reports also from the world of wines in the hope to let people see from inside what it is all this about, seen from the point of view of the property of these lands that are deemed to be one of the best in the world (together with Bordeaux, Bourgogne and Champagne and Tuscany, and somehow Napa Valley).
